What is love in contemporary Britain and how do the British express it? LoveUK is the fourth episode of a long term project documenting aspects of British life. My quest took me to a variety of arenas - from ordinary homes to strip clubs, and from church weddings to small town discos. The resulting images are often harsh and not always easy to digest, but come to encompass the diversity of contemporary British loving with, I hope, honesty and humour. A selection of prints from the project is the first show on display at the 3rd Floor Gallery in Cardiff and opens at 7pm on the 12th of February and runs until the 7th March.

The Third Floor Gallery is located in 102 Bute Street and is open Wednesdays to Sundays from 1pm to 7pm. Admission to the event and the exhibition is free. Please come along, and while in town you could also take in Martin Parr's Exhibition - 'Cardiff Working Men's Clubs' at the Earlswood WMC from 11th February - 14th March.
